Scrum Master Training, Learning & Certification

Scrum Master Certified (SMC™) professionals are facilitators who make sure the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. Train to become a Scrum Master by attending a live, instructor-led certification training class or take a self-study On-Demand Scrum certification training course from ONLC Training Centers!

Scrum is a process framework that is an adaptive, iterative and effective way to create and implement changes while delivering value to a client quickly and often during a project. A Scrum process is distinguished from other agile processes by specific concepts and practices, divided into the three categories of Roles, Artifacts, and Time Boxes. Scrum Teams can break down large complicated tasks into individual prioritized elements that can be completed in short bursts and delivered to a client, maximizing change and improvement.

Scrum is made up of five distinct stages; Plan, Do, Check, Adjust, and Release. During the Plan stage, the team sets goals and objectives, defines tasks, and develops a timeline. During the Do stage, the team works on tasks in short sprints and produces a working product. The Check stage is where the team inspects their work, reviews the results and discusses any issues that need to be addressed. During the Adjust stage, the team makes changes or adjustments to the product based on feedback and results from the Check stage. Finally, during the Release stage, the team releases the finished product to the client or customer, who can then use it or adjust it as needed.

The Scrum Master's responsibility is to facilitate the Scrum process and ensure that all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcome. They must also manage the team's sprints and make sure that tasks are completed on time. A Scrum Master also needs to be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including the customer, and must be able to motivate the team to stay on track and meet deadlines. Additionally, they must ensure that the team is following Scrum best practices and that the product is of high quality. Finally, Scrum Masters need to be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the development process.

This Scrum Master training is accredited by SCRUMstudy and provides an in-depth understanding of the Scrum framework as well as the components, roles and processes of Scrum.
