NS-201: NetScaler ADC 14.x Administration Course

Description

This 5-day course is designed for IT Professionals working with NetScaler ADC, with little to no previous NetScaler experience. Potential students include administrators, engineers, and architects interested in identifying, implementing and managing a NetScaler ADC using leading practices as well as implementing advanced policies to control traffic flow through the NetScaler ADC.
Product Versions Covered: NetScaler VPX v14.1 and NetScaler Console v14.1

Learning Objectives

• Understand the functionalities and capabilities of NetScaler ADC
• How to obtain, install, and manage NetScaler ADC licenses
• Comprehend basic NetScaler network architecture
• Understand how SSL is used to secure NetScaler ADC
• Optimize the NetScaler system for traffic handling and management
• Understand the basic elements of the AppExpert Policy Engine and identify its use cases.
• Understand how to use the features of Rewrite and Responder on the NetScaler ADC.
• Understand the benefits of Content Switching and how to deploy the feature with load balancing.
• Explore various features of NetScaler to improve the client-server experience and responsiveness.
• Understand Global Server Load Balancing and how to use it for site-level redundancy.

Prerequisite Knowledge

This course requires little to no previous experience with NetScaler ADC; however, Citrix recommends a basic understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and of the OSI model, network devices, and networking protocols.
