Azure AI Fundamentals & Beyond (AI-900 & AI-050) (3 after-hours sessions) Course Outline
Special Note to New Hampshire ResidentsThis course has not yet been approved by the New Hampshire Department of Education. Please contact us for an update on when the class will be available in New Hampshire.
Special Microsoft AI Summit Event
This class is a specially-priced certification event that is subsidized by Microsoft. It combines content from two courses as well as a certification exam voucher.
NOTE: This course is in a cohort-based learning format that combines live, instructor-led training with self-paced study. The course will meet online with the instructor for approximately 2 hours each week (3 live sessions spread over a 3-week period. Hover your mouse on the course date to view dates & times). In addition to the live class time participants should expect to spend 2 to 3 hours per week on self-study and labs.
Overview
This course introduces fundamental concepts related to artificial intelligence (AI), and the services in Microsoft Azure that can be used to create AI solutions. The course is not designed to teach students to become professional data scientists or software developers, but rather to build awareness of common AI workloads and the ability to identify Azure services to support them.
The course combines Microsoft Official content for AI Fundamentals certification and goes beyond the fundamentals with content from the AI-050 course, Developing Generative AI Solutions with Azure OpenAI Service.
Preparation for Microsoft exam: AI-900
Bonus: Certification Voucher
As a part of the Microsoft Generative AI Summit, participants are eligible to receive a free Certification Exam Voucher for the AI Fundamentals certification offered by Microsoft.
Audience profile
The Azure AI Fundamentals course is designed for anyone interested in learning about the types of solutions artificial intelligence (AI) makes possible, and the services on Microsoft Azure that you can use to create them. You dont need to have any experience using Microsoft Azure before taking this course, but a basic familiarity with computer technology and the Internet is assumed.
Some of the concepts covered require a basic understanding of mathematics, such as the ability to interpret charts. The course includes hands-on activities that involve working with data and running code, so a knowledge of fundamental programming principles is helpful.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with computers and using a web browser.
Skills gained
Describe Artificial Intelligence workloads and considerations
Describe fundamental principles of machine learning on Azure
Describe features of computer vision workloads on Azure
Describe features of Natural Language Processing (NLP) workloads on Azure
Describe features of conversational AI workloads on Azure
