To achieve MOS Access Expert certification for versions 2019 or 365 you must pass the authorized exam. Prep for the the MOS exam with our live, hands-on courses led by professional trainers, or with our self-study On-Demand course. Either will help you get ready for the Access MOS authorized exam.
Microsoft recommends candidates have hands-on experience with the software and that they use training resources. The below MOS learning path will help you prep for the authorized MOS Access certification exam.
MOS exams are performance-based and include multiple projects to gauge skills. Microsoft changes exam questions and tasks frequently to maintain integrity. As such, training alone may not cover all exam topics. It is recommended candidates review the exam guide before attempting the authorized exam.
MOS authorized exams are available from Certiport. ONLC has a test from home option that's only available for current ONLC students. ONLC students should complete the Home Exam request form to schedule the authorized exam at home (other restrictions and requirements may apply). Those who prefer a testing location and non-ONLC students should visit Certiport's list of testing locations to schedule an exam.
When you pass the authorized MOS exam you will receive a digital badge for that credential. Anyone who views your badge can select it to learn about your skills and verify its authenticity.

Note about Microsoft Access Versions
Versions 365, 2019 and 2016 are very similar from the user's perspective. The difference is mostly a matter of how you're accessing the software. Microsoft Access 365 is accessed via the cloud. You pay a monthly subscription to use the software. Since it's not static on your device, you'll get updates to the software when they happen. On the otherhand, 2019 / 2016 and earlier PC versions are purchased outright and installed directly onto your computer (aka "on-premise").
Access features and functions are the same no matter which version you're using, and as such students with any of those versions can attend the same training.
