 | Al Harris is the honoree for Mt. Holly Pro Day 2007.
At the conclusion of high school, Al received a football scholarship to Arizona State University where he was once again a standout player. Harris became the first unanimous All-American selection in Arizona State University history. As a college senior, at the position of defensive end, he was a finalist for the prestigious Lombardi and Outland trophies.
Since retiring from the NFL, Al is a successful motivational speaker bringing his experiences, methods, mission and ministry to audiences all across America. He has served churches, banquets, companies, corporations and charities, as well as doing chapels for professional baseball and football teams. Al has also worked as a National Account executive for a software company called LRSSPORTS and has coached for the San Francisco 49ers.

Al played his first
two years of high school football at Rancocas Valley Regional High School for 
Al
was the first round draft pick of the National Football League’s Chicago
Bears in 1979. Harris brought his excellence for leadership and gridiron greatness
to the Bears. 
When Buddy Ryan left the Bears to become head coach with the task of rebuilding the
Philadelphia Eagles, he asked Harris to bring his experience and leadership to
add stability to their young defense. (1986-1988)
